So I’ve told you before I’m basic. However, plaid has been around for a while and there is a reason for this. Plaid can be worn in so many ways. You can go with a typical plaid shirt, a scarf or even a bag. Here are my top plaid picks in every category.
Lets start with tops. Besides scarves, this is probably the go to plaid item. Of course you cannot go wrong with a classic plaid button down. Besides the classic button down there is other shapes and styles like peplum, tunics or even dresses.
This one is from Nordstrom. This is made by BP and retails at $49
This one is from Forever 21. They always have so many plaid options and they are very affordable! retails at $19.90.
Of course I had to include one from one of my favorite retailers Red Dress Boutique. This one looks really cozy and classic. Retails at $38.00.
So now that we covered the classic button down, here are other silhouettes as well.
Here is another Forever 21 option. This one is more of a tunic/dress. You could wear it like the model, or when they weather gets colder pair it with leggings and boots. This retails at $24.90.

Scarves! This is a really inexpensive way to incorporate plaid in your wardrobe.

Bags!!!! Another way to add plaid to your look. Whether its a tote or a clutch or a small purse. I am going bananas over some of these.

Lastly is a bag by Kate spade. Kate does plaid in a very classy and fun way. This little cute bag retails for $148.

I bought another pattern of these pillow last year. I keep them on my couch all year round. They are so soft and plush. I really love these.
