Curling iron: I curl my hair a lot, especially during the Summer. After years of using the same mediocre curling iron I finally upgraded to this one. The size that I use is a 3/4 inch barrel. I find that this gives me the waves I desire. This one heats up fast, has multiple heat setting and a simple on/off switch.
Self tanner: I used to be in the sun every chance I get. However, now that I’m older I know the importance of taking care of your skin and using sunscreen. I still love being tan. The two self tanners that I have had the most success with, are Loving Tan and Tarte Brazilliance plus self tanner. I know that “Loving Tan” has a lot hype on Youtube and social media. However I do not have any affiliation with the company or with Tarte. I just really enjoy how both theses product perform. They both give your skin a natural looking tan, without the orange color a lot of other Self tanners tend to leave behind. Now I’m not going to claim that neither of these product streak. Anyone who claims this is a liar. Any tanning product can streak if not applied correctly. A trick when applying a mouse like the Loving Tan, is to apply lotion to problem areas like ankles, wrists, elbows and knees. Let this soak in ad dry, and then apply the tanning mouse.
Lippy sets: I purchased both of these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love them both so much! This Mac Nude trio, comes with two lipsticks and one lip gloss. These colors are so pretty. especially “Love Drought”. It has a metallic finish that doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever had before. The second is this Jouer lip gloss duo. Both these colors are so wearable and really flattering.
Anastasia Norvina pallet: This pallet has mixed reviews on YouTube. I don’t really care, I love this. You can do so many looks with this pallet. Everyone keeps saying this is a “purple eye shadow pallet. I have yet to use the purples in this pallet and have produced a variety of looks. This pallet is pigmented, a easy to blend, I really recommend this.
Texturizing spay: I recently purchased the travel version of this IGK Beach Club Texture spray. I don’t love the smell, but I really like how the product performs. It holds my waves without weighing them down like hairspray can. It kills me how expensive these texturizing sprays can be. One day I would like to try the Oribe texturizing spray, however its $22 just for the travel size. Has anyone tried this? Is it worth the price tag???
