wedding shower season

Although these days it seems like you can have a wedding any time of year, spring and summer are usually the most popular. I’ve been to my fair share of showers these past few years and every time a new outfit. A few of these are still available and those that are not any more I tried to find something similar.

1) Jamie’s shower: 12039606_10102529890900454_8845478797920991803_n
I wore a Cynthia Rowley dress in an orange-red color. The great thing about Cynthia Rowley is that I feel she designs for the real women and you can almost always find her at a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. click here for a similar color and cut

2) Randi’s wedding:13615233_10105469591826017_1423572904902354140_n
I wore a black romper. Although I love rompers this was the first time I wore one to a shower. Her shower was in a little restaurant in Manhattan, so I thought if I was going to wear something a little different than your typical dress, NCY would be the perfect location. This romper isn’t available but I have found an alternative from the same designer.

3) Emily’s shower:
my friend Emily’s shower was at a restaurant. It was a nicer restaurant but not a fancy restaurant. For her shower, I wore this blue off the shoulder sundress that is still available and when you see the price you will die.

4) Ashley’s shower:20597188_10108833300876053_1920219397486625132_n
I was the maid of honor for Ashley’s shower and 6 months pregnant at the time. I did not wear anything maternity I just simply picked a flowy dress and went up a size. This sage green dress is comfortable and easy to wear for my growing body. This one from reddress botique is no longer available, however this one has similar sleeves, while this one is similar in color. Both are great alternatives.

5) Sam’s shower:
For Sam’s shower I wore this sundress.  This ended up being a more casual shower.  Not to many people were in dresses, most were in pants. However, i will never turn down an opportunity to wear a new dress.
