Hello beautiful people. I know I have not put up a post in a while and I am a bit ashamed about that. The truth is I was feeling a little bit of writers block. However, Valentines day is one of my favorite holidays. I have no idea why, it just always has been. I remember in Elementary school you would decorate a shoe box to bring into school and all the kids would pass out Valentines and place them in your decorative box. I would love going home at the end of the day and looking and reading all of them. As I grew up I still would buy or make valentines and pass them out. Some years I would bake cookies as well or put together little candy bags filled with treats. I guess I always felt like even though its a “Hallmark” holiday, its a day to just stop and let people know that you care about them. Everyone needs to hear something like that once in awhile. Knowing that someone is thinking about you, can mean the world to some people, at least it does to me. People might think its a made up holiday for the card and candy companies to profit, however its also an opportunity to show someone that you love and appreciate them. My husband is a kind, smart and funny man. However, he is not good at expressing his emotions and giving compliments. Holidays like Valentines day are an opportunity to show me, even if he is not the best at expressing it on an everyday basis. Unfortunately, with all this being said I don’t think we will be celebrating this year. Despite how sad that makes me and how much a night out with my husband would be amazing, it doesn’t seem to be in the cards this year. With that being said though, I have compiled some cute clothing, accessories and makeup that will give you Valentines Day Inspiration. So, if you are going out on a date night or staying home and keeping it casual like us, hopefully one of these items or looks will give you Valentines Day vibes!

I have spoken about this palette before. This is the Huda Beauty The New Nudes Palette. It is full of mauve and pink eyeshadows which would be [perfect for creating a valentines day makeup look.
There are two lipsticks that I would recommend to go with the Huda Beauty Palette and both are from the drugstore. The first is “Badest Beige” by Maybelline. This has become pretty famous, because of Jaclyn Hill(a famous youtuber) and Emily Gemma(a famous blogger). However it is also an amazing nude shade that could go with any eye look.
The second lipstick is Maybelline’s “Pink For Me”. This is from their newest line The Color Sensational Made For All Lipsticks. What is so special about this is for every color they tested it on numerous skin tones to make shades that supposedly can work on anyone. This is a very pretty pink and I highly recommend it. I plan on buying a lot more from this line just based on how much I love this color.
